Luciana Paluzzi
Luciana Paluzzi, an Italian actor who was brunette with a lot of her body and a large smile, became famous following the success of Gina Lollobrigida. After making appearances on both coasts of the Atlantic in the 1950s on films such as Three Coins in the Fountain, (1954), and Sea Fury, (1958), Luciana Paluzzi was offered a chance at American TV fame in the part of Simone Genet in the spy weekly Five Fingers in 1959. When she was in 1965, she met the Bond producers and was a candidate as the lead character Domino Derval's part in Thunderball. Terence Young, the director suggested that she be given Fiona Volpe the role as the villain. She was one of the few women in the world that could not resist the temptation of Mr. Bond Maybe as a form of consequence, Fiona is killed on the dance floor by her own friends, and James puts her body in the table next to it and asks "Do you mind if my companion sits down with this body? "She's dead." The blockbuster at the box office enabled Luciana Paluzzi to extend her European star career to the 1970s both in the US and Europe, with films including Captain Nemo And The Underwater City (1969), The Six Million Dollar Man (1973), The Klansman (1974) and The Greek Tycoon
